Chapter 1: [New Powers]

Rachael draws her sword. "We have to move people!"

"And now we're suddenly a team.." Jason muttered under his breath before picking up the slack, running down towards the town with the others.

Anya figured the others would catch up as they ran down the hill to the city. She goes towards the North "Yato! Where is he now?" She yelled back

"Come, my spirit regalia.SEKKI!"Yato reach out his hand as Yukine nodded.
"Right!"Yukine's kanji tattoo glowed on his right shoulder and extended outwards.His body soon disappeared transforming into a beautiful long sword, the perfect length.The sword landed perfectly in Yato's hand as he began to dash towards the explosion, disappearing.

Nox gripped her naginata then wrapped herself in shadows, stepping into the city, appearing at a vantage point across the street from the target.

Anya groans as Yato disappears and she catches up to Dex "MOVE ASIDE!" People move out of the way for them but not many as they almost get trampled.

Jason grunted as he shuffled through the flailing crowd, following closely behind Yato but losing distance. "Come on, out the way people!"

Anya rushes through the streets as fast as she can. Seeing Nox a few blocks away she runs after them knowing she was where the man would be. Anya runs up and jumps onto a parked car and grabs her bow and gets an arrow ready and aims it at the man ready to shoot.

Yato was well ahead of everyone else.His speed was unreal.Yukine began to speak, which could he heard as an echo."Yato, I can feel him close by be careful."

Yato nodded and put up Sekki on a defensive position.He would leave lines on the ground to guide people to safety without him actually telling them directly.

Rachael approaches the destination. Seeing that nox and Anya had a visual on the target, Rachael hid in the shadows, ready to help at the moments notice.

Briefly startled the man noticed her Nox quickly regains composure as she notices Anya taking aim. Hoping too keep attention on her self, however odd that felt, Nox notched her own bow and took aim.

Jason rushed in where the explosion took place, panting some from shoving the fleeing civilians aside to make way. He noticed the man standing in the middle covered in odd symbols and knew right away that that was their guy. He slipped his backpack, setting it against the building. "Should have done this sooner.... where are my weapons?"

Yato spotted the man covered in symbols, immediately putting Sekki into a neutral position to guard or attack on a moments notice.He was determined to win.He wanted to gain respect, which also made him angry.

Yato is mixing his emotions again.He better be careful.

Anya kneeled on a cart that had been knocked over in the panic. She nods to Nox as she keeps his attention. She takes a deep quiet breath and shoots for his thigh hoping to maybe get information from him as she quickly loads another arrow.

"Rend!"Yato moved Sekki in a blinding succession of rapid slashes, each one sending a series of sharp waves of light, and secondary sharp pushes from the sword.He regained his footing and began to circle the man.

Anya's eyes go wide seeing her arrow break. She puts her arrow and bow away grabbing the stollen sword and watches him closely ready to attack. She decided to stay quiet not encouraging him.

As Anya loosed her arrow Nox let fly her own aiming at the mans spinal cord now that he was turned to face her.

Anya notices and she runs up towards him to attack him with the sword hoping he couldn't focus on both

Jason saw the man send Anya's arrows flying right back at her. He gritted his teeth pulling out a heavy iron frying skillet before taking his stance, observing the man and anything he'd do as Anya and Nox attacked him. "I'll just have to use my frying pan as a batting pan for the time being.."

Yato kept himself elevated on the buildings as circled so he wouldn't be in danger to be hit by crossfire.

"My lord, you people are going to get yourselfs killed..." Rachael mumbles to herself. She steps out the shadows to help her team. She gets into a battle stance, prepared to attack or support her teammates as necessary.
